Babies and mama are at home and doing well, and as soon as a semi-regular sleep schedule emerges, I hope to be doodlin' and bloggin' again. Plans to attend the San Diego Comic Con are still a go though.... table F-7 for anybody interested :)

Trix Kids

These are a couple kid designs for a Trix cereal commercial that's been airing lately on Cartoon Network, which were done around Nov.-Dec. of 2006. I saw the commercial a couple times this weekend and remembered about them ... sniff.

After 9 years of animating cereal commercials, I've moved on to a new job .....

For the past three months I've been learning a whole new career as a toy designer, for a place which creates toys for a major fast food chain throughout the world. I won't be specific ... but think golden arches and green shakes on St. Patrick's day. While I've been soaking in all the new info, I've neglected my personal doodles ....

.... So here's a little scribble for a toy that you will most definitely not be seeing anytime soon ;)

Halloween ..... The Lost Drawing

I drew this for Halloween, stuck it in a book, forgot about it, did some cleaning 'round the house tonight, found the drawing, and now present it to you with Yuletide greetings ;)

It's been nearly a month since my last post .... ouch .... but this cold Chicago weather has got me in hibernation mode.

Some more background paintings for the animated short. These will have a screen time of only about 2-3 seconds, so you'll barely see 'em. But they were sure fun to work on. It now looks like things may wrap up in late winter, early spring, because the studio is busy with commercial work for the holidays.

These are some background pieces for an animated short a studio in Chicago is producing. The short is finally within view of being completed, and if all goes well, may be finished by the end of the year. That's all I can say for now, but will be posting some more soon ...... :)
