Work like this inspires me to re-think the approach I have. I have two daughters, and I think they would love it if I did work for them like this. The textures and compositions are just great.

Hi Darryl! It was so great to see you at Comic Con! Your work looks really fantastic as ever, and the magnets...pure genius! I have them up in my cubical all in two rows. They look great!

It occurred to me after seeing you that we should have gone to dinner Saturday night. Duh on my part...sorry about that. I was so overwhelmed, this being my first con and all. I hope you have a booth next year!

Anyway, I hope you had a lot of success and got a lot of exposure! And I hope the family is doing well, too.

Take care -

Julie :)

p.s. i'm working on a little sketch book of my own. :)

Thanks for the kind words everybody!!!!

As always .. sorry for the late response ... your positive feedback is always appreciated and really does mean a lot to me!!!

kb: Comic-Con 2007 ... what a ride. Thanks for being my permanent sounding board. You're a true friend bud!

zorilita: Glad you stopped by, was nice talking to you. Keep poundin' the pavement, something will come your way!

bobby: Thank you! Hope to get to meet you next year, was caught up in Con frenzy this year. I'll have to have Robin introduce us :)

daryl: I'd love to visit England one day ... and you can bet I'll be looking you up when I do ;)Hope you're doing well!

animal qwacker: They'd look good in just about any room! ...shameless plug

tevik: Thanks, I use Photoshop 7.0 and a wacom tablet. I like the faux finish brushes to paint and erase with.

catherine and sarah: I've created a monster (two actually) !! Glad you both had a great time, looking forward to next year. ... oh, I'm be posting the Mojo Jojo sketch in the near future ;)

jeremie: Thank you. The births of Kirby and Nina have made me re-think my whole life. Go with your gut, and be true to yourself. Even if that means exploring roads you've never taken, and going against what "everybody else is doing". You, and everyone around you, will be happier.

julie: I'm so glad you stopped by to say hi, was great seeing you after such a long time! We'll have to go out next year, totally slipped my mind to!
Can't wait for your sketchbook, chocked full of your beautiful paintings I hope !
